When People are Fighting God!

When people are suffering because of their choices and actions.

Is the person crying because they feel really sorry for what they have done to God and how they have hurt people? Are they crying about the damage they have caused to someone(s) or God’s will, etc.?

OR, are they simply feeling sorry for themselves and wanting others to feel sorry for them and wanting God to show mercy to them?

Different heart motives! One brings repentance, healing, forgiveness, progress, and trust. The other brings selfishness, resentment, anger, lack of growth and hopelessness.

Two different attitudes, two different results!

When people are suffering because they are fighting God, He does not show sympathy or compassion to them until and unless they repent to his satisfaction. That’s a fact!
